Mission Statement
Operating under the guidelines of the Workforce Investment Act, Connections was created for Belmont County businesses and citizens in order to provide a single system that offers an array of employment, education and training programs and partners' services. The goal of Connections is twofold:
- Coordinate programs and resources in Belmont County so individuals have easy access to a seamless system of workforce investment services that will enhance their long-term employability.
- Access for businesses to employment and training information that will meet their workforce and developmental needs

Provides the Ohio Works First Program, Food Stamps, Children Services, Child Support, Medicaid, Transportation and Workforce Investment Act services.

- Mideast Career and Technology Centers
Provides the Adult Basic and Literacy Education Program which offers educational opportunities for adults who lack the basic skills needed for effective citizenship, further education and productive employment

Provides vocational evaluation, diagnostic testing, medical treatment, job training and placement services, and employment and training opportunities for disabled persons

- Community Action Commission of Belmont County
Provides over 25 programs to help low income residents of Belmont County overcome poverty. Programming is offered in the areas of employment, housing, education, health, nutrition, transportation, childcare, and income management.

Provides employment and trainging oppertunities for low, moderate or no income job seekers aged 55 or over.

- Belmont Technical College
Provides post-secondary education through multiple certificate and degree programs. Continuing education oppertunities, financial aid assistance, and career counseling are available for students. Workforce development and training for business and industry.
